Pre-release

Over the course of several months, a few people have privately reported issues with Alpha-1. I have resolved all of those in git and this release incorporates those fixes.

  • I'm still aware of an issue that I found while demoing the game to Mr. de Lancie where the mouse idle sequence transporting you back to the beginning during puzzles where it fails to keep state. I will eventually resolve that one and post the first beta when that's taken care of.

As before, please remember to follow the directions in the README.md file to import the videos from the original media. If you don't do that, when you start a new game, it will warn you that the videos are not found.

If you already followed those steps in a previous version you can keep the CDAssets folder that you had before.

If you encounter any issues, again, please open a bug using the 'Issues' tab in Github. A large portion of the file size in the release is a copy of the GPL tool FFMPEG that will allow you to resync the audio so the game can play the videos from the CD. If you already have a working version of FFMPEG on your computer, you can use that instead.

This is the first release of the remake for Star Trek: Borg. I want to stress that this has no video content from the game, you must provide your own legally acquired video and follow the directions on the Readme to import the video.
