A chess database software doth appear, scid, by name,
explore thou canst the history of players and their feats,
a tool all chess players should seize in their quest for victory!

I have been maintaining and developing this open-source chess software for several years.
Mainly suitable for people who want to study chess and improve their play.
It can store millions of games, use chess engines such as Stockfish and have a super fast position search which you can use to study openings or opponents.
The binaries are hosted on sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/scid/

Check out the quick start tutorial or head over to the 5.0 version.
