The Acorn Music 500 (latterly Hybrid Music 5000) is a 16 channel synthesiser module for the Acorn 8 bit microcomputers (primarily the BBC Micro and BBC Master 128).

The system had a number of modules available for it (e.g. midi outputs, a second set of 16 channels) and also a keyboard input device (the Music 4000).

This project, which consists of software and hardware, is designed to allow a modern MIDI keyboard, or any other device that outputs serial MIDI, to be used with the Hybrid system in place of the M4000 keyboard connected to the userport.
