The -i option to sidekiq was removed in this commit: sidekiq/sidekiq@5987a8c#diff-6cb1e9c2f07f71eba03ed54d2157cd999b8b3212009c92338d630f7e215ceed7
The startup script /engineyard/bin/sidekiq uses the -i option.
/engineyard/bin/sidekiq
not being able to upgrade sidekiq also makes it hard to upgrade redis, as older versions of sidekiq have redis < 4.2 in the gemspec.
