Etherium Transactions

This repo provides API's for getting your Etherium Transactions and total expenses of your transactions.

If you want to try it I've deployed my backend in render.com.

And here's the Base URL: https://ethertxn.onrender.com/ - copy this and try it in postman and use API endpoints mentioned in API enpoints section

Installation

If you want to contribute or get to work with follow the steps:

  git clone https://github.com/guruprasath-v/EtherTXN

After get into directory,

npm install

After that you get your node_modules

Now you need to provide .env file

1.) Create a .env file in the root directory.

2.) Go to Etherscan API and create your own account to generate an API key.

3.) Go to Mongo Atlas and create new db and add proper uri password.

4.) Now add variables in .env

ETHERSCAN_API_KEY=your_api_key
MONGO_URI=mongo_uri
PORT=8080

After this, start the server:

npm start

API Endpoints Details

• GET /api/transactions/{address}?page=1

  • Description: Retrieves the List of paginated transactions for a given Ethereum address.

  • Example URL: https://ethertxn.onrender.com/api/transactions/0xce94e5621a5f7068253c42558c147480f38b5e0d

  • Method: GET

  • Parameters:

    • address: Ethereum address (required)

  • query parameters:

    • page: 1 to MaxPage (optional default to 1)

  • Description: Retrieves the total expenses and the current Etherium price for a given Ethereum address.
