Kee 4.0 alpha testing notes

Please take particular note of this section:

"The files generated as part of this build are not signed by Mozilla (Firefox) or Google (Chrome) so can only be installed using those browser’s respective development mode features. Instructions for doing this tend to vary so please consult the browser’s documentation to work out which browser version and configuration steps are required to load these builds. In case it needs spelling out, caveat emptor when it comes to using experimental builds. No automatic updates will be offered for these builds."

Our expectation of Chrome alpha testing is that you would enable "Developer mode", extract the beta zip file to a directory and then "load unpacked" from that directory. You may or may not find that this overwrites your existing Kee installation - if not, please disable the v3 extension (removing will delete some settings, etc. so best to avoid that in case you need to switch back to v3 for any reason).

Note that we have only tested the -beta versions so far. We expect the size differences are due to a lack of source maps in the non-beta versions of the extension but have not confirmed this.
