Releases: kit-data-manager/FAIR-DO-Lab
2024.11.0
What's Changed
- We now use a pre-built image for the Typed PID Maker. This will reduce the first startup drastically. If required, this can be changed in the docker compose file to build a custom image, if needed.
- Fixed a configuration issue due to a bug in the spring framework (no action on your side required)
- Bump eclipse-temurin from 17 to 21 in /pit-service by @dependabot in #14
New Contributors
- @dependabot made their first contribution in #14

Starting CalVer versioning and release scheme
From today on, we start a versioning scheme for the FAIR DO Lab. The scheme is YYYY.MM.PATCH (year, month, patch-number). Having a release makes citation and archival easier and offers us a possibility to communicate about larger changes more easily. For this release, there are no big changes. We plan to switch from contained Dockerfiles to well-configurable images soon, which will save you time and make everything a tiny bit easier. The versioning will also enable us to point from the release notes to the release notes of individual services when the services are being updated.
