1.3. Placing a Forum

If you haven't yet, skip ahead to creating conferences and forums.

Once you have created at least one conference, and it contains at least one forum, you are ready to put it on a page.

To do this:

0. Go to the Mura CMS Site Manager
1. Add a new page and give it a Title
2. Click on Layout & Objects
3. Set the layout template to a wide format (i.e. one_column)
4. Change Inheritance to "Start New Cascade"
5. Under Content Objects, select Plugins, then Meld Forums
6. Click on Conferences (Select) and move it over to the main content area on the right. A "configurator" will pop up, asking you which conferences you would like to add to the page.
7. Optionally, you can now change "Select Display Object Type" to "Meld Forums: Widgets" and add any additional widgets you like
8. Save the page.

You should now be able to see your Meld Forum forum on the front end of your site.
