Instructions:

Install MouseSupport package using Cydia
Run: dpkg -i /ch.ringwald.synergyclient_0.8-9_iphoneos-arm.deb
Reboot to get the application on the SpringBoard.

Updated version: http://cydia.myrepospace.com/thenorth/ (landscape and keyboard support).
