This is based on https://github.com/dunhamsteve/notesutils , particularly notes2html, with some changes for exporting Apple Notes to Notion via HTML files
Images still do not show up. I tried relative and absolute paths but it did not work. I think Notion only allows non-local images. One quick fix is to upload all images but there is no free, private, and general hosting solution for everyone ...
