+With the apparent election of Donald Trump to the presidency in the [2024 presidential election](https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election), it is time to prepare for contingencies.  That man has proposed many horrifying actions throughout his campaign.  If he follows through with even a few of these actions the country and its people will face a number of needlessly exciting calamities.
