This PR mimics contributted PR #151 from @fiqare-emergya-dev, squashing its >70 commits into a single one. Note that the diff checksum in the first commit matches the one of the original PR ( +402 −6,486 )
There is a an additional commit (52685ce) with a little addition to CHANGEX_NEXT_RELEASE
It would be great if @fiqare-emergya-dev could provide LGTM on this PR before final merging in master.
