This version adds lots of polishing to Flowtide's new base created in the last release. Because of the changes, I've been able to move at lightspeed and deliver this next release to you.

This update is a huge rewrite of the entire app for performance, stability, and customizability.

Firstly, pretty much all bugs that were previously an issue are fixed now.

Flowtide has moved to a widget-based approach where you add widgets and sort them however you like. You can add widgets like nature sounds, pomodoro timers, and to-do lists. In the future, you'll be able to code your own blocks with TypeScript and distribute them using JS files.

If a widget-based approach doesn't sit with you, there's always the Night Stand and the Speed Dial mode. Night Stand is a huge display of a clock and the date and Speed Dial is your bookmarks in a minimalistic display.

Last but not least, there is performance. Flowtide v3 absolutely flies and the page loads incredibly fast and everything including the UI feels faster and better.

This will be rolled out in the extension stores over the next coming days.

This is a major update that adds new features and improvements to Flowtide. Let's take a look.

Features:

• Customize what features you have turned on
  For example, you can turn off to-do lists, soundscapes, or even the clock
• Bookmarks widget
  Get a new menu in the top right with a list of your bookmarks and below the clock.
• See your first unchecked todo item below the clock
  Easily see whatever task you need to do on every new tab
• Show completed toggle for todos
  Organize your tasks better by hiding all completed tasks

Improvements:

• Removed a recursive render
  An uncaught recursive call was costing adding 100mb of memory to Flowtide. This new update aims to fix it.
• Image optimization through Next/image
  It might be slower now, but once it populates the cache, it should be a lot faster ⚡️
• Refreshed icon
  Flowtide has a new modern icon.
