How to configure the OSX virtual machine

  1. Get VMware Workstation (faster) or Player
  2. Follow this advice to setup your OSX virtual machine
  3. Install the vmware tools (VM's VM menu -> Reinstall VMware Tools...)
  4. Upgrade to OSX Sierra from the AppStore
  5. Install Xcode from the AppStore
  6. Install Qt
