Accessory Power Jumper

Next to the MCU there is a jumper on a line that feeds power to the optional leds and haptic board. From the factory, the line provides power to those accessories. Wired users should leave the jumper as it is.

Wireless users running on small batteries may want to cut power to those accessories, if they have installed them, as they will quickly drain power even if turned off. To cut the line, just take a small knife and slice between the two pads to sever the trace that can be seen between them. If you later change your mind and would like lights or haptic feedback, solder across the two pads to restore power to those accessories.

Some wireless MCU's provide a software switch for cutting the external VCC power line. That can be an option instead of physically cutting the trace. But check that it has effect on both left and right keyboards.
