matrix-scan-quick -best_hit_per_seq
From @jvanheld "I added an option -best_hit_per_seq to matrix-scan-quick, in order to enable us scoring all the sequences of the IBIS challenge in the same way as the organisers.
Since yesterday I had being doing this with matrix-scan (without the option -quick) but this is taking ages.
I now call matrix-scan-quick via matrix-scan (which greatly facilitates the handling of multiple matrices) and the result is computed in a few seconds !"
added convert-matrix -trim_info
As the previous one, this release was produced during tests for the IBIS Challenge with the aim of making all our calculations reproducible with versioned Docker containers.
lighter Docker container
This release was produced during tests for the IBIS Challenge with the aim of producing a lighter Docker container than 20240507_cv1. The container can now use previously formatted genomes or DNA motifs, see instructions at Installing the RSAT Docker container.
In addition, main rsat
script now also prints the current main citation and a URL with the complete list of RSAT publications.
Preparing for conda packaging
Release in preparation for the Conda packaging of RSAT.
rsat-code version 2020-01-19
This is the first release of the code on the github platforms.
Previous releases were tarballs on http://download.rsat.eu/ (which will not be maintained in the future), and the versions were previously managed on a private git repository.
